The theme of Future of Learning Forum March 10, 2017 is what most of you are ultimately responsible for, namely, getting the most out of your investments in organizational learning. We are calling it The Co-creation of Learning as that stretches nicely across all the sessions, from Victoria Marsick, Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University on Action & Team Learning, to Lucy Appert, Associate Director of Center for Teaching and Learning at Columbia University on Virtual Learning to Dale Moore's massive U.S. Navy project to co-create the context for the Navy’s 30-year strategy via his gigantic crowd-sourced online game.

After a networking lunch, Michael Shadlen, Professor at the Mind Brain Behavior Institute, Columbia University will talk about how the human brain goes about being creative and Matthew Pearce, Education Program Specialist from NASA will talk about galvanizing the creativity of brilliant researchers and the STEM community in the service of climate change policy and space travel. Next, a faculty member, Columbia Business School, R.A. Farrokhnia, who will delve into four varied cases of exemplary team working-creativity-innovation that will nicely summarize the day’s big ideas. Three entrepreneurs from the Columbia Startup Lab then will share their stories of the opportunities they see, the steps they have taken, the results they have attained and their learning so far.

As a CCLA community member, you will receive 25% discount to join the forum. You can apply here and mention that you are Columbia Coaching Learning Association member and receive 25% discount.
