Executive Coaching Program Examples Within an Organization

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have examples of organizations who have built out Executive Coaching programs within an organization to help support leadership/employee development. I am interested in exploring the benefits of creating a dedicated role focused on creating and managing an Executive Coaching function within an organization. In my research, it seems that many organizations have individuals who have a dual role- overseeing Executive Coaching or serving as internal coaches while also working in a second role, typically in Leadership Development, OD, etc. Has anyone come across research or have examples that support a case for a dedicated resource solely focused on overseeing executive coaching?

Thanks,
Aviva

  • Hello Aviva,

If you have not already done so, ask Dr. Anne Power for her contacts from Wells Forgo, a group of them completed the coaching program during one of the earlier cohorts - at the time they had a group of dedicated internal coaches. Good luck with your research - see you later this month @ the conference - looking forward to your panel discussion.
