Carolyn Carlson co-founded Stanger Carlson in 2013 to help senior business leaders and their organizations become more successful. Decades of experience working in senior roles at PwC, IBM and with clients has taught her what makes leaders and their strategies win in the marketplace. Carolyn’s executive coaching is focused on professional and personal development with particular emphasis on helping senior and director-level executives become thoughtful people leaders who exhibit self-awareness, emotional intelligence and a strong executive presence. Carolyn has coached a broad range of executives in service and technology industries, including professional services. Her own background in engineering and her business and coaching experience make her an ideal fit for working with leaders in industries such as accounting, architecture, construction, consulting, engineering and information technology. Carolyn has had a distinguished professional career as a senior business leader, consultant and executive coach. She was a consulting Partner at PwC and a senior executive in IBM’s Global Services Human Capital Consulting business. Carolyn led IBM’s Strategy & Consulting practice for the America’s. Prior to this role, Carolyn managed a segment of IBM’s Human Capital Management practice. She has been a speaker for the Human Capital Institute and a contributor to IBM’s 2010 & 2008 Global Human Capital Studies — “Working Beyond Boarders” and “Unlocking the DNA of the Adaptable Workforce”. She facilitates StangerCarlson’s Executive Connection Forum and is the voice of the firm’s Talent Minute screencast series. She serves on International Coach Federation’s NYC Chapter Board. Carolyn earned her B.S. Industrial Engineering from Bradley University and is a graduate of Columbia University’s Executive Coaching Certification Program. She is trained in Gestalt OSD and certified practitioner in Bizet Activity Vector Analysis, Four Groups 4G, and Neethling Brain Instrument.
