Formal Coach Education and/or Training

After a career in executive coaching I returned to grad school and enrolled in the masters and then doctorate in Organizational Psychology with a focus on women's leadership and coaching. In that role I helped create and TA the first coaching curriculum at CU (at TC with Pat Raskin). I graduated with a Ed.D in Interdisciplinary Studies combining my Org Psych work with Adult Learning and Leadership and Work/Family, etc. After graduating I founded the Center for Parental Leave Leadership (the only consulting company in the US to focus exclusively on the parental leave timeframe) where I, in part, train and supervise people to be parental leave coaches at the intersection of the New Parent/Manager/Team relationships. We work with small to enterprise level companies in the US and Australia to progress their parental leave policy, practice and support.
