NOTE 2: I've also included a classic article that: (a) describes the concept of "The Comfort Zone" in more detail (including its origins); (b) making connections between the so-called "comfort zone" and "danger zone" with the idea of optimal performance (relevant out working with clients to achieve concrete outcomes from your coaching); (c) addressing "group development" theory - which is a good foundation for applying this concept to "group" and "team" coaching; and (d) it addressing the "coping cycle," which I find a useful framework for supporting clients under conditions of stress. This article was written in 2008, it is a good foundations source to better understand the orgins of some of the more recent threatments of the topic.

NOTE 3: the "planning" document below includes the "Poll Questions" used during the "check-in" segment, as well as, the "chat logs" from both sessions - lot's of interesting observations, insights, and tips!

PLEASE use the "reply" function of this discussion blog to: (a) share feedback about our 2nd virtual connection session; (b) important insights from the session; and importantly (c) as you apply these ideas in your work, let the community know what you learning and any other additional, related resources you discover. I'll do the same.
