Track 1 Intra/Interpersonal Space Experiential Learning Session: Nurturing Creative Space: Tools for Coaching the Post-Heroic Leader

Abstract: In this experiential workshop participants will learn about a proprietary assessment/coaching tool developed to assist leaders in shifting from a traditional/patriarchal to a post-heroic approach to leadership. The tool assesses values/style/mind-set and provides a framework to support self-inquiry and personal growth. Current literature on the emergent theory of  “post-heroic” leadership will be reviewed along with best practices for creating a safe space for coaching that mitigates anxiety and fosters behavior change.
