Monica and her company, Beyond Barriers, are on a mission to accelerate women in leadership by democratizing access to executive coaching for mid-career women to help accelerate their success and rise up the corporate ladder. Monica Marquez is Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Beyond Barriers. Throughout her 20+ year corporate career, Monica has pioneered industry-leading programs to help the disadvantaged gain breakthrough access to opportunities. She has held senior and executive roles leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives at some of the world’s best companies such as Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Ernst & Young, JLL and Google. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish. And, a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from Texas Tech University.
