Abstract:The legal profession and its culture are undergoing fundamental change. Immersed in today’s world of sound bites, and in a global society that demands multi-cultural communication and management skills, successful law firms are evolving. Legal knowledge and expertise, always essential to successful practice, are no longer enough. Through evidence based research and current data regarding law firm recruitment and attorney development, we explore approaches to the successful application of coaching principles and high validity assessment tools within the law firm context.
